A Year With Six Sisters’ Stuff Review

First, I'm excited to add my two sisters to my blog. As the founder of Sweetly Made (Just for you), I thought it would be fun to have my talented older sisters join and add their ideas.

So, today Tiffany and I will share our opinions of...

About the Six Sisters:

The Six Sisters—Camille, Kristen, Elyse, Stephanie, Lauren, and Kendra—grew up in Utah, but a few of them have lived in other parts of the country since moving out of the house. Between them there are five nieces and three nephews, and all of the sisters love playing “aunt.” The sisters started the blog in February 2011 to keep in touch while they were apart, but it has since gained popularity, garnering more than 9 million viewers per month and more than 307,000 followers on Pinterest.

In Emilee's opinion:

I recently received my own copy from Shadow Mountain in exchange for my honest opinion. I loved their ideas for an entire year. The pages were thick and the photos were superb. I loved how each menu had a main dish, side and a dessert. The recipes were simple and idealistic.  I was pretty impressed with the layout of their book as well. It was organized and fun to look through.  It was also fun to read some of their family traditions such as the "Crazy dinner" Tradition. I also liked their DIY Menu board. I definitely recommend A Year with Six Sisters' Stuff book. I'm definitely making a lot of their recipes to bring my family together.

In Tiffany's opinion:

I was so excited to receive a copy of the new Six Sisters’ Stuff menu-planning book! I am always searching for new ideas of meals for my growing family and it’s difficult with my busy life to think of the entire menu. I was thrilled that this book included 52 ideas, along with side dishes and dessert!  All in one colorful, organized and darling cookbook! My kids looked through the book and placed several post-it notes on the meals they want me to make. Almost every page was filled! The book cover is eye-catching. The pictures are colorful and simple. I enjoyed reading the blurbs about why each sister included their particular recipe. Not only is this book filled with 52 meals, it also includes extra pages of ideas such as 52 weeks of food storage. I recommend this book and can hardly wait to get started on Menu #1 next week!
