Wonderful Wednesday's Review {Zion Mercantile Week 1}

Welcome to
"Wonderful Wednesday's Review."
For the next five weeks, I'm going to share with you some products that are fun for the entire family. Most of my giveaways these days have been from one of my favorite sponsors,
Deseret Book.

{Well, I can't say they are my FAVORITE because that wouldn't be fair to my other sponsors but I Love, Love, Love their products}.
NOTE: Be sure to check back each week because there will be a giveaway.

Recently, I had the opportunity of attending a Deseret Book's VIP blogger event as an introduction to Zion's Mercantile Company. I felt honored to be chosen as one of their guests. It was a great experience and I'm so glad I was able to get a babysitter for my kids! Thanks sis!

I was pretty impressed with the Deseret Book in Downtown SLC. They have amazing displays and I was blown away by the creativity. Here are a few photos I took with my I-phone. Thank goodness, I had my phone with me.

First, they told us about some of their Zion's Mercantile products for Christmas 2013. The products were adorable and perfect for the upcoming season.

Have you heard about Zion's Mercantile? It is now a part of Deseret Book. Here is a tidbit..."Zions Mercantile is a gathering of gifts and décor inspired by our unique Latter-day Saint heritage — whether it be from Palmyra, Nauvoo, Salt Lake City or anywhere in the world. Offering quality products in a variety of price points, Zions Mercantile is a place you can find meaningful items that enhance your home and reflect your values."-Deseret Book

You can find Zion Mercantile products in the Deseret Book stores or online at DeseretBook.com.

After the quick tour, we headed to their corporate center to discuss ideas and thoughts. There were some pretty awesome ideas and I felt a little intimidated. However, that didn't stop me from sharing my ideas. Then they told us we were going home with a ton of new products.

WAHOO! WOW! THAT IS INSANE! YIPPEE!

Here are a few of the items...

Honey Butter Tableware
Advent Calendar
Flicker Candle
Biblical Names of Christ Ornaments
 Christmas at Historic Nauvoo Ornament
 Music Box Grinders
Mason Jar Drink Dispenser and Mugs

Other items that are not listed online are...
Linen Stripe Christmas Items & Heritage Wrap and Ribbons

The first Zion's Mercantile product I'm going to talk about is...

Week #1 Honey Butter Tableware

"The scent of crisp bacon. Fresh melon. Hot scones served with homemade jam. Gather your family for a cozy, conference breakfast served on our new Honey Butter tableware. Inspired by the hard-working honey bee, this tableware features a honeycomb pattern, antique glaze, and embossed bee. It’s rich, golden color is a perfect accent for your harvest entertaining and will make any gathering sweet. Microwave and dishwasher safe." -Deseretbook.com

The Honey Butter Tableware is perfect for entertaining during the holidays. I love the bright yellow for the Fall. I've already displayed them in my kitchen and they look amazing with my Halloween and Thanksgiving décor. Also, you could use the entire set for a Mother's Day breakfast. It is perfect for spring or summer. Also, it could be used for casual settings or a brunch with the girls. Use this adorable tableware to spend time with family. It will bring smiles to everyone! Also, did you know that honeycombs are a huge trend at the moment?

Most of Zion's Mercantile products are affordable. The dinner plates (set of 4) are only $29.95. Wow! That price is so reasonable! So far, I'm pretty impressed with Zion's Mercantile Company. It reminds me of Nauvoo which makes me want to visit the city again and again.

I just love my new dish set.

Here is what was included...

Honey Butter Tableware: Serving Bowls (Set of 2)
Honey Butter Tableware: Dinner Plate (Set of 4)
Honey Butter Tableware: Pitcher

Honey Butter Tableware: Salt & Pepper Shakers

Next week I'll tell you about the new advent calendar, flicker candle and Biblical Names of Christ Ornaments. So, be sure to check back each week. Thanks again for checking out Sweetly Made (Just for you).

Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products or services for free in the hope that I would mention them on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
