Try it Tuesday & Review {Blackmoore Book Giveaway}

It is another fun week of
"Try it Tuesday & Review."
Thank to all who visit my blog from time to time. I have enjoyed writing reviews for several different companies. I love sharing new products with my readers. Lately, I've focused my attention on books. Today, I have a romantic book to share with all of you-yes another book. I'm also a hopeless romantic so I was excited to read another novel from the bestselling author of Edenbrooke. Has anyone read Edenbrooke? Well, if you loved it, you are bound to love...
by Julianne Donaldson
Kate Worthington knows her heart and she knows she will never to marry. Her plan is to travel to India instead—if only to find peace for her restless spirit and to escape the family she abhors. But Kate’s meddlesome mother has other plans. She makes a bargain with Kate: India, yes, but only after Kate has secured—and rejected—three marriage proposals.

Kate journeys to the stately manor of Blackmoore determined to fulfill her end of the bargain sooner rather than later and enlists the help of her dearest childhood friend, Henry Delafield. But when it comes to matters of love, bargains are meaningless and plans are changeable. There on the wild lands of Blackmoore, Kate must face the truth that has kept her heart captive. Will the proposal she is determined to reject actually be the one thing that will set her heart free?

Set in Northern England in 1820, Blackmoore is a regency romance that tells the story of a young woman struggling to learn how to follow her heart.

The digital books are on sale – yes, the e-books! There is an amazing Amazon.com special in September so be sure to check it out.

About the Author:

Debut novelist Julianne Donaldson is a hopeless romantic. Her degree in English has only fueled her passion to write. She and her husband live in Salt Lake City, Utah, with their four children, but she takes every opportunity she can to travel the English countryside.

In my opinion:

This book was definitely hard to put down so I was constantly reading even when I was feeding my newborn. Any spare time I have, I am either reading or knitting. I have a passion for both! I absolutely loved this novel. I felt connected to Kate Worthington and hoped that everything would work out for her in the end. I was on her side the entire time and felt torn that her relationship with her mother was not up to par. Kate struggled a lot with her feelings but learned how to follow her heart. Why do we tend to run away from our problems instead of just facing them? It always seems brighter over the hill but we need to work through our problems. Then we will be stronger.

I always love a happy ending but you will need to read it to find out what happens. I'm looking forward to Donaldson's next novel.

One of my fabulous readers will win a copy of Blackmoore.
