Try it Thursday & Review {Giveaway}

Hey everyone! It is another wonderful week of
"Try it Thursday & Review + Giveaway."

I was priviledged to review
The 5 Love Languages for Children

What is the book about?

"To be their best, children need to feel loved. But if you and your child speak different love languages, your affection might get lost in translation, affecting the child’s attitude, behavior, and development. Dr. Gary Chapman’s groundbreaking Five Love Languages series has helped millions of couples communicate love more clearly, and Dr. Ross Campbell M.D. has applied the innovative system to children as well. The 5 Love Languages of Children gives practical suggestions for learning how your children interpret love and creating a sense of security in which they can thrive."

In my opinion...

This book came at the perfect time in my life. I'm not saying that I haven't shown Eli love. All I'm saying is that I was able to see a different perspective on showing him love. I realized that Eli speaks a different love language than me. I know he is only a toddler and needs all five love languages but I started noticing that quality time and physical touch may be on the top of his list. He is very affectionate and loves spending time with others. This was the perfect book! It helped me to understand Eli and gave me ways to be a better mom. I've always wanted to read The 5 Love Languages but never got around to it. Now, I better pick up a copy so I can figure out Adrian's love language. I absolutely recommend The 5 Love Languages of Children to everyone. Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell are extraodinary authors and they have sold more than one million of these books.

"You know you love your child. But how can you show it so they really feel loved?"

The best part about this review is I get to give one of my lucky readers a copy of...

  4. There is so much to learn. I <3 that there is a quiz for kids to learn their love language. I also learned a little about the "The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace". I want to get that for my awesome husband.

  7. I did not realize until recently that they had this book for children! That is great! It is important to try to understand your child where they are in life and show them love in their language. It will ultimately give them a sense of security and stability in the home if they feel loved by those who are most important to them.

  11. Okay, so I took the quiz and I guess words of affirmation mean more than I thought!! I would LOVE to read the book 5 Love Languages of Children. I couldn't do the quiz for them as my 4 little ones are ages 2-7.
